ABOUT ANZESTRY

Jeremy Palmer is a professional genealogist with over 15 years full time experience of the subject. After graduating with a History degree from the University of Kent, he trained at the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury, England, where he obtained the Diploma in Genealogy. Jeremy progressed on to become Registrar of the Institute where he taught and lectured widely on genealogical and family history subjects. He was also a genealogist for its supporting commercial company, undertaking research into families in the UK and abroad. Having relocated to Australia, Jeremy has formed ANZESTRY to bring his research expertise to clients with UK and European origins. He has also featured in several Australian radio programmes for stations in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and countrywide, where he discussed topics such as the popularity of genealogy and the use of DNA in tracing ancestry, along with helping callers with their genealogical queries. Recently, he gave advice about family history research on two television programmes shown on The History Channel. He also featured as an expert advisor for the online question and answer sessions following the popular SBS show Who Do You Think You Are?
